The Council works in partnership with East Vale Community Transport to provide a weekly transport service (Thursday mornings) to the local supermarkets. The Council engages a local volunteer and funds the hire of the specially adapted vehicle with those travelling being required to make a small donation to the costs involved. You should be aware that the community bus will pick you up from the front door and the driver will provide assistance to those that require it.
