The Council owns and maintains the village green, village garden on Spencer Drive and the Brook Green pocket park located at the junction of Llandough Hill with Penlan Road. All sites are well-maintained and enhance the environment of the community. The village green houses the millennium stone and a number of seats for use by the public including an original GWR seat. The Brook Green pocket park comprises of a path and footbridge enabling the public to access Llandough Hill or Penlan Road without having to negotiate the road junction. All of these sites have benefitted from the Council’s investment in bio-diversity and during the Spring period there is an array of spring bulbs and flowers growing which serve to enhance the environment.
